5 Things You Might Not Know About Your Heart

Listed below are some interesting facts regarding our heart. If you got some more, feel free to comment and add.

  • MONDAYS:  You are more likely to have a heart attack on Monday morning than at any other time of the week.
Just an ordinary day.
Be on guard.  Do not stress yourself too much.

Study conclusively reports that the most common day for heart attacks is Monday, particularly from 4 to 10 in the morning.
Late for work?  Boss is awaiting for the report? Hmmm...

  • RING FINGER:  Scientists have discovered correlation between the ring finger and heart attack.  The longer the ring finger is in boys the less chance of suffering a heart attack.
  • MY HEART ONLY BEATS FOR YOU:  Your heart beats about 100,000 times in one day and about 35 million times in a year. During an average lifetime, the human heart will beat more than 2.5 billion times.
Go tell your partner precisely how many times your heart only beats for her/him.

  • DON'T GUM-me HEART ATTACK:  People that suffer from gum disease are twice as likely to have a stroke or heart attack.
Those tiny devils, which cause gum infection, are the culprits.  Get rid of them!
Must go for a heart-to-brain talk.  I am in love.
  • WHERE TO GO?:  Early Egyptians believed that the heart and other major organs had wills of their own and would move around inside the body.
